GladRags is in the business of reducing our negative environmental impact on the Earth. But it isn't just what is sold at GladRags that makes us environmentally-friendly, it's how we operate the business as well.
We want to share with you some of our commitments to sustainable business practices:
For Our Customers
- Provide organically-grown cotton GladRags pads
- Source conventionally-grown cotton from local fabric suppliers
- Print on 100% post consumer paper
- Manufacture GladRags locally to reduce transportation emissions
- Sell reusable, rather than disposable, products and/or naturally derived products
- Promote healthy, conscientious living through our products, blog, newsletter and website
In The Office
- Compost all organic office waste
- Recycle all paper, aluminum, plastics and glass
- Refill printer ink cartridges rather than purchase new cartridges
- Purchase surplus boxes for shipment (this also saves GladRags money)
- Reuse all shipping packaging that we can
