Lunette Selene & Selene Kit

GladRags: The Lunette Selene Cup

GladRags: The Lunette Selene Cup

Named after the Greek Moon Goddess Selene, this cup is a beautiful light blue version of the familiar Lunette!

Model 1 is designed for light flow and holds 25 ml of fluid.  Model 2 is designed for heavy flow and holds 30 ml.

The soft silicone Lunette is manufactured in Finland and is a great alternative to disposable products.  The Lunette cup collects your flow rather than absorbing it, so it won't cause discomfort from dryness like tampons can.  Comfortable and easy to use, most women can't even feel the cup once inserted!  The Lunette cup can last for years with proper care, saving you hundreds of dollars!  Detailed instructions for use and care come with your order.  Please note: the Lunette cup cannot be returned.

If there was a way for periods to be more convenient, this would be it. I've used the Lunette cups for about 3 months now and absolutely love them. I had tried a different brand several years ago and found it incredibly uncomfortable. I assumed that cups were not for me. I mentioned this to a friend who swears by cups, and she encouraged me to try a different brand. I initially ordered a small lunette. I am over 30 but have never had children. The small was incredibly comfortable, but I did have a little bit of leakage on heavy days. I then ordered the large, and I love it. It doesn't leak at all. I do yoga regularly, and am still leak free. I love how I don't have to worry if I have enough tampons or pads when I leave the house. I used the Glad Rags reusable pads before this, and love how I don't have to do the extra laundry. This cup is incredibly discreet and comfortable. No clammy cotton to cause odors or chaffing either. This is an awesome find.

This is SO GREAT! I am 25, no children, and bought the model 1 after much research, and it has been plenty of capacity even on my heaviest day (I would soak through a regular tampon in around 4 hours). I managed to get it right with the suggested C-fold on the first try. My cervix is high, but I have not had any issues removing it, though that was definitely the more challenging part. It is very comfortable; I can't feel it at all...and I feel less irritated like I did wearing pads and/or tampons. I feel that I smell better, too, if that makes sense - I was getting mini-infections with tampons. I wore my Lunette with a backup cloth pantyliner the first day, but when I realized I got it right, I have been going without any backup. LOVE THIS!

I was so excited to find that my lunette cup arrived just in time for the start of my period this month. (I thought i had orded it too late.) I had been considering a menstrual cup for several months and finally decided on the lunette. It does take a little practice to learn to get it in and out, but otherwise it's great! Tampons have always leaked for me, even with a light flow, but the cup does not. I can wear it all day empty before bed, and then empty again in the morning. It is also much more comfortable than a tampon or pad! I really like it and am considering buying one for my sister's birthday. I got the combo pack with the panty liners and liked those as well, they breathe much better than disposables.

this is way easier than i thought it would be! why weren't we told about these in school?! honestly, if this was the first feminine product i ever used, i would have never tried anything else. works perfectly day AND night! NO leaks at all! i've given birth once, i am 25, and a size 2 fits perfectly! this is definitely the way to go :) it's nice to have to set an alarm to remind me to change it. i can't feel a thing, and i even kept the little tab thingy on it. WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL!!
