GladRags Day Pads

GladRags Washable Cloth Day Pads - Regular Cotton Color

GladRags Washable Cloth Day Pads - Regular Cotton Color

Our most popular and versatile pad in packs of one or three!

Each Day Pad includes:

1 Holder (approximately 9" long and 2 1/2" wide)
2 Inserts

*Large Day Pads have holders which measure approximately 11" long and 3 3/8" wide.  Each insert that comes with the Large Day Pad measures 9" by 2 7/8", which is longer than the inserts used in our standard Day and Night Pads.

GladRags holders are made out of comfortable cotton flannel fitted with a snap and “envelope” for the inserts. GladRags inserts consist of super-absorbent terry cloth and flannel for maximum protection.  Lasting for years, GladRags are easy on your budget, while also using minimal resources.

To Use GladRags Washable Menstrual Pads:

1. Place 1 or 2 of the inserts inside the holder.
2. Turn your GladRag over. Snap it around your underwear. The tag side goes next to your underwear and the smooth side goes next to your body.
3. Change your GladRag (holder and inserts) about as often as you would change a disposable pad.

I bought one to try almost two years ago and I really love the day pads. They are comfortable and just the right size for me. I stopped having irritation and excess moodiness after I started using them. These are really easy to use and worth it!

I bought the undyed organic daypads. They are a lot more absorbent than other cloth pads that I have used. And they wash cleaner. I only wish they were a little longer. Another inch or inch and a half and I would be a little more confident wearing them.

Never had menstral problems til I turned 40. My "kitty" area felt so sore - like a wound. I was emailed info regarding how most store bought pads make you bleed more; that can't be healthy! Glad Rags solved my pain in 1 month. My friends think my new rags are weird, but I do not have pain, or the monthly cost, or the health risk. Would like some conservative solid colors. I'm sold! Reusable (which made them worthwhile to me already), the comfort is SO superior to disposable pads. And while I was skeptical and can't explain it, I can report what others have reported, shorter, more uneventful periods :) Truly did not realize what a lifetime of placing toxic products repeatedly on the tenderest part of my body was really doing. So glad I made the switch. (And the bonus is that my dogs don't go digging through the trash cans to find used pads! ICK!)
