Phasing Out My Disposables With GladRags
Wow! My second cycle using Glad Rags, and I already can see what the raves are all about.
I live in a warm, humid climate, and I like how GladRags don't trap perspiration and heat like pads and pantyliners do. You can reposition GladRags easily -- something you can't do with the adhesive on conventional pads
I look forward to phasing out my conventional products and building up my stock of GladRags. Thanks for providing a quality alternative to feminine protection.

GladRags and Longevity
I've been using GladRags since 1993. And the ones I use now are the same ones I bought way back then! They last and last, are comfortable, very easy to wash and care for. I soak them in cold water and a natural disinfectant to remove fluids and then wash them normally--this works well for me. I've saved literally hundreds of dollars not buying disposable products, and it makes me feel good to keep all of that out of a landfill. I expect I'll still be using this same set for another decade, by the looks of them!

My Pads and I are Pals For Life
I would just love to congratulate you all on your discovery of incredible reusable menstrual products! I knew I wanted to start using your cotton pads, but wasn't sure, after I bought them, how I would explain this new method to friends and family. I was finally so sick of disposable pads chafing, itching, and creating so much waste that I bought an entire 3 packs of GladRags, and am constantly surprised at how much more soft they become after each washing! No more waste, and certainly no more chafing! They are wonderful. It then came naturally how I would explain them to others if they asked. It turns out that roommates, friends, my sister and mom are actually very interested in the idea, instead of being grossed out like I thought they might be. My pads and I are pals for life, because for the first time I am in tune and okay with my period! Thank You!!!

GladRags on the High Seas
For the last year I have been meaning to send a note of gratitude to your company for your wonderful products. I have been using GladRags (cloth menstrual pads) and The Keeper for this time and only wish I had made the change from commercial store products a long time ago. Last May we departed Vashon Island, WA on our S/Y Moonflight. We have been cruising the Pacific Ocean and we are now headed back home to WA State. Our ports of call have included the French Polynesia-Marquesas to the Kiribati. Traveling to so many countries, toiletry products were hard to come by. I will never switch back but continue to spread the word about your products to other cruisers, friends and family. Thank you again for your terrific product. When my daughter is of age, I'll order your product for her.

Saving Money for 8 Years!
I just wanted you all to know that I've been blissfully happy using the same GladRags for 8 years now! To put it simply, they're completely soft and comfortable against your body

Vulvar Vestibulitis - or - Discomfort in my "Fun Parts"
I just had to write and tell you how WONDERFUL your products are! A year ago, I had to undergo surgery for a condition called vulvar vestibulitis--a complicated name for a very painful and frustrating condition. Since my surgery, I have been hypersensitive to discomfort in my "fun parts," and worried that my condition might return. I began to notice that store-bought maxi pads were very irritating to those sensitive tissues, and I looked around for a more comfortable alternative. I had heard the name GladRags years ago, and I wish I had bought them then! I found your website and immediately ordered a bunch. That was a few months ago, and now I am telling every woman I know about them. They are sooo comfortable; I never worry about leaks; my period is shorter and lighter, and the irritation is completely gone! Before trying it, some people might think this process would be gross, but I find it much cleaner and fresher smelling than throwing a whole bunch of pads in my trashcan.

Goodbye to Disposables!
I recently ordered my first GladRags, and promptly used them during my last cycle. They were much easier to use than I thought, and I feel great about no longer contributing to the landfill waste caused by disposable hygiene products I used previously.
Two things especially stand out for me. One, for some reason I often had trouble with the adhesive parts of pads and liners getting stuck to my skin, which -shall we say- was less than comfortable. With GladRags, I no longer have this problem! (Believe me, I noticed the difference!)
Second, I always ended up having to rinse my undies because even the bulkiest pads would get crumpled up and leak. So rinsing my GladRags is nothing new.
I was also very pleasantly surprised by the pretty patterns on my GladRags, as I had expected something much less fancy.
So THANK YOU, both for this Earth-friendly option, and for the high quality of your products.

100% Protected With GladRags
I am proud to say that I have my period as I type this, and I am 100% protected with GladRags. I can't feel them, no one can see them, and, believe it or not, I am PROUD to be a woman! I can't believe that I anxiously awaited my period for the first time ever!

The Extra "work" is Really Not Work at All
I've written to tell you that you have yet another really happy customer! After thinking about it for several years, I purchased some of you pads four months ago. I'm thrilled with them. The fun prints add some brightness to my period and it's great knowing I'm not wasting resources on plastic pads. I find the extra "work" is really not work at all.

GladRags and Post-Partum
Thought I'd let you know that I love my GladRags. I've had them for at least 10 years and they're still going strong! I've used them post-partum after having our three children, and not just in the conventional way. I made a tea of healing herbs and put some on my liners and popped them in the freezer... they were a welcome bottom-soother after delivery!

Crazy? Not!
I thought my friend was crazy using cloth pads, I thought what a
hassle, and mess, but I was WRONG. I love my GladRags, I bought some through
a health food store, I love them, they are so comfortable and easy to
use, mostly COMFORTABLE. Usually I have problems with my pad making me

Product of Choice
It's been four years now that I have been using your organic cotton GladRags on and off. More recently, I decided that this was my product of choice. I can't express enough how good I feel about using them. I have found that with each cycle, I become more aware of who I am as a woman and how grateful I am to be one. GladRags has enabled me to give a little more back to Mother Earth each month. My medicinal herb garden is incredibly bountiful from the monthly offerings I give her (rinse water from her pads)! GladRags in a Warm Climate
After the birth of my baby, disposable pads were literally eating away my skin! After trying Glad Rags, I will never, ever use a disposable pad again. They are as comfortable as cotton panties. I have a large body in a warm climate, so I really appreciate their breath-ability as well. I'm sold on the Keeper, too. Thanks for such great products, such reasonable prices, and such a healthy, positive attitude about our bodies. Where were you when I was 12? :)

Such a Logical Product
Your product has made me a very happy person! The waste I knew I was making by using disposable pads always drove me crazy. Plus I never liked that I was putting something so super-processed so close to my body. Then a friend mentioned that she knew someone who used reusable cotton pads. Could it be? So I went on an internet search and there you were! I've been a faithful GladRags user for almost a year now and I'll never go back. Just think of all the landfill space I WON'T be filling up with pads over the course of my lifetime! GladRags are durable, very absorbent and extremely comfortable. I just graduated from college and some of my skeptical friends say they don't have time to put forth the extra effort, but once you make the change, it's really no effort at all. And now I don't have to spend time and money buying disposables every month! Thanks for creating such a logical product. Keep up the good work!
