The comments above from Bryan and Michael are obviously from our friends - we were asking for comments so we could test the blog. But it just goes to show GladRags fans aren't all women. There are some enlightened guys out there too!

Although I myself do not menstruate and therefore cannot personally utilize GladRags' Menstrual Alternatives to their fullest, I have witnessed the satisfaction that my partner has derived from them and can can say that I believe strongly in the work they're doing.

First of all, GladRags products do not suffer from shortcomings compared to their disposable counterparts, but rather work every bit as well, allowing users to maintain their lifestyle during their cycle. GladRags' products', however, offer quite a lot that 'traditional' menstrual products cannot. Forget your worries about Toxic Shock Syndrome as the dangerous, toxic chemicals used by mainstream manufacturers are not used in GladRags' products. Know that you are choosing greater environmental responsibility, as those highly toxic chemicals are absent and you needn't contribute to landfills unnecessarily. The economic advantages, for many, is further vindication as GladRags' products are significantly more affordable than their alternatives.

While writing this praise, it occurred to me that the terms 'traditional and 'alternative' are certainly misplaced. Surely the term 'alternative' would better suit the wasteful, harmful, and costly products their competitors offer as I'm sure their chemical-laden menstrual solutions least resemble historical norms and 'traditional' practices.
